We are looking for a detail-oriented Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer to ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of our software products. You will be responsible for designing and executing test plans, identifying bugs, and working closely with developers to deliver high-quality applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts
- Perform manual and automated testing of applications
- Identify, document, and track bugs using issue tracking tools
- Collaborate with developers to resolve defects
- Conduct regression, functional, and performance testing
- Ensure product quality meets business and user requirements
- Participate in Agile/Scrum processes and sprint testing
- Continuously improve QA processes and methodologies
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
- Proven experience as a QA Engineer or Software Tester
- Strong understanding of software testing methodologies
- Experience with testing tools (Selenium, Cypress, JIRA, TestRail)
- Basic knowledge of programming/scripting (Java, Python, JS)
- Familiarity with APIs and database testing (SQL)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with test automation frameworks
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
- Familiarity with performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner)
- Experience in web and mobile application testing
- ISTQB or other QA certifications
