We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Engineer to lead the design, development, and optimization of our data infrastructure. You will play a key role in building scalable data pipelines, managing large datasets, and enabling data-driven decision-making across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and build scalable data pipelines (ETL/ELT)
- Develop and maintain data architectures and data warehouses
- Optimize data flow and storage for performance and scalability
- Work with large datasets (structured & unstructured)
- Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and engineering teams
- Implement data quality, governance, and security best practices
- Integrate data from multiple sources (APIs, databases, third-party tools)
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and improve data systems
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in data engineering or similar role
- Strong proficiency in Python, SQL, and data processing frameworks
- Experience with ETL tools and pipeline orchestration (Airflow, dbt, etc.)
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Strong knowledge of data warehousing solutions (BigQuery, Snowflake, Redshift)
- Experience with big data technologies (Spark, Hadoop)
- Understanding of data modeling and database design
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with real-time data streaming (Kafka, Kinesis)
- Knowledge of machine learning data pipelines
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD for data workflows
- Experience in SaaS, fintech, or large-scale platforms
- Relevant certifications in cloud or data engineering
